Have you just purchased or have been assigned a new paid Sitebulb license? Congratulations! Follow the steps below to activate it.
You have an account and had a Free Trial License
It may be that you have already trialled Sitebulb and have now been assigned a paid license.
When you log into the software, you will land on Your Account.
If you are already logged into Sitebulb, navigate to Your Account at the top right of your screen:
Here, you can switch from your Trial license to your new paid license by using the Activate License button.
You have an account but no valid licenses
If your Trial license or past paid license has expired, you will only see the new paid license listed here, and the License tag in the top left corner will indicate that you are on a Free read-only license.
Make sure to Activate your new license before moving on to the Project dashboard.
You were assigned a license but do not have a Sitebulb account
You will receive an email when you are assigned a Sitebulb license. At this point, you may not yet have an account.
If you are brand new to Sitebulb, you will need to create an account before you can log in to the software and activate your new license.
1. Download and install the Sitebulb software
You will find the latest version of Sitebulb here.
2. Create a new account using the same email address that your license was assigned to
When you run the software for the first time, you'll be presented with a 'Sign in' page.
Select the 'Create a new free account' radio button, fill in your details, and register.
3. Head to your inbox to verify your account & set your password
Once you hit Register, a message will display asking you to verify your account.
Check your inbox for the verification email, and follow the link to set your password and verify your Sitebulb account.
4. Sign in to Sitebulb through the software
Once you've created your Sitebulb account, go back to the software and sign in using your email address and the password you just set.
5. Activate your License
Once you Sign in to Sitebulb, you will land on the ‘Your Account’ page. Use the green Activate License button to activate and start using your Sitebulb License:
Troubleshooting
If you have successfully signed into your Sitebulb account but are still struggling to activate your license, please check the following:
Ensure that the account you have signed up with or logged in with is associated with the same email address that the license was assigned to. For example, you may already have an account associated with your Gmail address, but the new license is associated with your work email.
Ensure that you have created and verified an account for the email address that the license was assigned to.
