How to choose the right Sitebulb plan and upgrade to a paid Sitebulb subscription

Updated over a month ago

Sitebulb includes a free, fully featured 14 day trial for every user. Once your trial period is over, you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription to continue using the software.

Choose a Sitebulb Plan

In order to sign up, simply head over to our Pricing page to get set up on one of the plans.

On the pricing page, you will need to choose between our license options:

  • Lite - this is our budget-friendly option, suitable for freelancers, start-ups or single website owners that aren't regularly doing website audits and don't need all the technical options.

  • Pro - this is our core product, that 80%+ of our customers select, and is the perfect option if you are regularly auditing websites.

  • Cloud - this is our Cloud crawling solution, designed with SEO teams and agencies in mind, for large-scale technical crawling and audits, and remote collaboration.

Choose a monthly or yearly plan

All subscriptions renew automatically (either monthly or yearly) unless you decide to cancel in between.

Adjust currency

You can adjust the currency between £/$/€

Select the number of Licences

For Lite and Pro subscriptions, you'll also need to select how many User Licenses you want to purchase.

Once you've made your selections, hit the Buy Now

Create an account or sign in

If you came directly from the desktop tool, you'll just see a checkout overlay (skip to the next step), as you'll already be logged into your account.

If you came via the website, you'll be prompted to create an account or sign in.

Create account

You may wish to create a new account if, for example, you signed up with your personal Gmail account when you did the trial, but want to use your work email for the purchase.

Add your details

Either way, as soon as you're signed in you'll see the checkout overlay, which will confirm the amount to be paid, including VAT.

At this point, you'll need to enter your billing email address. This may be the same as your account email, but it also allows you to instead specify an account or billing email address that you prefer invoices/receipts to go to.

You'll then enter your location details, and card details before confirming the purchase.

Optional: Add your VAT and business details

At this point, you also have the option to add your VAT number and business details using the 'Add VAT' button.

Add VAT Number

You can also add VAT and business details to your invoices retrospectively, so don't worry if you don't have these details at hand at this stage.

Wait for the payment to be authorized

Payments are processed through our reseller Paddle, and it can sometimes take a few minutes for payment to get fully authorized. In the meantime you'll be taken to this screen:

Thank you for subscribing

Enjoy your Sitebulb Licence

You'll get a couple of confirmation emails as soon as payment has been processed.

Your new paid licenses are automatically assigned to your account, so the next time you open up the Sitebulb software you can activate your paid desktop license immediately, simply head over to Your Account and hit Activate License.

Activate License

That's it, you can now enjoy your new Sitebulb license!

All your subscriptions and licenses are associated with your Sitebulb account, so you can access and manage your subscriptions via the customer portal at any time. This allows you to log in and upgrade/downgrade/cancel, view invoices, and assign or revoke licenses from other team members.
