Setting up a new Project in Sitebulb can be done in a matter of seconds when using default settings. However, customised setups and settings, such as custom search and extraction rules, require more time, testing, and consideration.
Once you've got your setup pinned down, you may be looking for a solution to efficiently duplicate these settings across several projects without having to manually enable the reports or add your rules each time. This is where the Duplicate Project feature comes in.
Find the Project to Duplicate
First, navigate to the project you want to duplicate.
Duplicate the Project
You'll find the Duplicate Project button at the top of your project dashboards:
Update the name and start URL of your Project Copy
Clicking this button will lead you to the New Project screen, where you can update the Project name and start URL:
Once you're happy with your details, click Save and Continue to move on to the Audit Settings screen.
Adjust settings or start a crawl
All the settings here will have been carried over from your original project. Make any changes as necessary, or simply click Start Now to start the first audit in your new project.
